I've been very occupied lately and I hope that I can focus on the great local acts around the DFW metro-plex just like Ruby Queen who will be releasing there album on I-tune soon!
Ruby Queen is made up of a group of musicians from the Dallas, Texas area. It all started back at a church in Carrollton called Prince of Peace. Each member of the band had been playing at their own respective churches, until everyone got a call from someone at Prince of Peace at different times. By God's timing and plan, each of us ended up at Prince of Peace to lead worship on Sunday nights for a worship service called "Emerging Church".

American pop standard “You Are My Sunshine” is synonymous with idyllic memories of youth and other feelings of merriment. But Copeland, the Lakeland, Fla.-based, indie alternative trio who’ve already brought soul-searching tracks like “Control Freak” and “Pin Your Wings,” spin their own metaphorical thesis on the classic tune for their fourth studio effort, the aptly-titled You Are My Sunshine.
Meet 5 friends from McAllen, Texas:: Andy, Devin, Trey, Heidi and Davy. Meet their auroral melodies, their poetic percussion, and their ethereal lyrics. Meet their shy smiles as they glance downward when asked why they play music together. Welcome to Dignan.

When Jonezetta officially landed on the alternative rock radar with 2006’s Tooth & Nail debut Popularity, it was impossible to ignore its neo-new wave grooves and overall infectiousness. Fast forward to 2008’s Cruel To Be Young on the same label and the Mississippi-bred fivesome elevates its creative palate to even more astute degrees, refined by endless hours on the road alongside the likes of Anberlin, Bayside, Mute Math...
Number One Gun are a Christian rock band from Chico, California, that were most recently signed to Tooth & Nail Records. They self-released their debut EP Forever in 2002, before releasing their follow-up albums Celebrate Mistakes (2003) on Floodgate Records and Promises for the Imperfect (2005) on Tooth & Nail Records.
From a rather complicated tangle of events, and by a sometimes dark and winding road, The Fold have managed to not only survive the rough times, but to make the best of them. Their upcoming sophomore album, Secrets Keep You Sick, is evidence of the band's ability to channel their experiences into powerful, infectious songs.

Paying dues is an often overlooked aspect of the rock and roll lexicon. Welcome to the world of Ivoryline, where hard work, perseverance and passion are the edicts of life and pave the road they travel.
Aaron Gillespie is a man obsessed. Whether he’s out in front of The Almost, his celebrated rock-based band, or behind the drum kit for Underoath, the Clearwater, Florida-bred songwriter/musician can’t help but throw himself into everything he does.
Neon Horse is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. They are currently signed to Tooth and Nail Records and have released one studio album with them. Neon Horse's sound has been described as a very 80s sound.

When Jordan Beach, Thomas Boyd and Colin Cunningham met in 2004 the three instantly recognized they wanted to make music together. It wasn't long before the band Thoroughfare,a dynamic force in the world of Mo to record dern rock was formed.
Coming out of a strong and defining 2008, A Road Less Traveled presses into the future. In May 2008 two songs off their debut album “Rescue” gained national airplay and their single “Save Me” settled into the top 30 at christianrock.net.

I've been so slammed with other responsibilities but I believe I should be able to at least do 2 updates a month until June... Then I pray I can get a steady schedule...
Here are some quick new listings...
A Rotterdam November was formed In Boise, Idaho in late 2006. The band has six members each bringing unique musical talent and experience to the group. These varied backgrounds create a convergence of styles from classical to the most modern artists, which integrate to create ARN’s unique sound.
If the bar was set high by This Beautiful Republic’s eponymous debut Even Heroes Need A Parachute, it has now been completely obliterated by their sophomore effort Perceptions. What was a well-oiled rock machine has now become one of the most dynamic, epic, and profound acts you will come across. Certain to cross walls of genre, format, and faith, these are cuts that run deep, touching the full spectrum of emotion, sonics and candor.
There are many delightful contrasts running through rising pop punk/rock act Philmont. The Charlotte, North Carolina-based band named itself after a small town in New York because “we just thought it sounded cool,” and the title of its earnest debut EP, Oh Snap, is only there to give these guys an excuse to speak that silly phrase on a regular basis. But such lighthearted randomness is balanced by Philmont’s buzzworthy creative strengths, spiritual focus, and a do-it-yourself workethic that snaps everything perfectly into place.
